Addison Park District

Geri Estvanik, proudly represents Addison Park District where she serves as the Executive Director. Prior to this role, she had been an employee of the district for 28 years in a variety of leadership roles. Geri joined the Board of Trustees in May of 2015 and is an avid supporter and advocate of NEDSRA. Geri is excited to serve NEDSRA in all the wonderful activities and services they provide to the participants and their families. One of her favorite events is the annual Track and Field Meet and the annual Larry Roesch Golf Classic.

Oakbrook Terrace Park District

Cathy Fallon, proudly represents the Oakbrook Terrace Park District. She graduated from Elmhurst College and has 17 years in the field managing facilities, recreation programs and services. As a new member to the NEDSRA board, she is excited about the opportunity and looks forward to maintaining Oakbrook Terrace Park District's strong relationship with the organization.

Village of Schiller Park

John Bealer is the Director of Parks and Recreation for the Village of Schiller Park and has served on the NEDSRA Board of Trustees since 2004. John served on the Personnel Committee and the Executive Committee when he was Board Secretary. John enjoys the Special Olympics Track & Field Meet and continues to volunteer to help run the event on an annual basis.

Medinah Park District

Bruce Baum representing the Medinah Park District, serves as Executive Director and joined the NEDSRA Board of Trustees in July, 2013. Bruce graduated from North Central College with a degree in Park & Recreation Administration and has over 29 years of experience managing park and recreation services in Illinois. He is looking forward to serving on the NEDSRA board and finding ways to best use his expertise on behalf of the many participants who enjoy NEDSRA's annual programs.

Lombard Park District

Paul Friedrichs is the Executive Director for the Lombard Park District. Paul has gained valuable professional experience at a variety of districts, but NEDSRA is the first Special Recreation Association Board he has served on. Paul continues to be an active Trustee, as demonstrated by his involvement on the finance and Pension Ad Hoc committees.

Village of Villa Park

Greg Gola, representing the Village of Villa Park, has been on the NEDSRA Board of Trustees since 2010. After graduating from Southern Illinois University, Greg held a variety of positions in the field before being hired as the Director of Parks and Recreation for Villa Park. Greg’s favorite NEDSRA event is the Jr. Wheelchair Bulls basketball tournament, which Villa Park sponsors each year for more than 100 paralympic athletes.


MATT ELLMANN

Wood Dale Park District

Matthew Ellmann, is the Executive Director for the Wood Dale Park District and joined the NEDSRA Board of Trustees in June 2013. Matt is a graduate of George Williams College earning a BS in Leisure Environmental Recreation Administration and also is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional with over 31 years experience in the field.  Matt is “proud to serve on the Board of Trustees and contribute to the award-winning organization that provides quality services and activities to those with disabilities.”

Itasca Park District

Maryfran Leno, representing the Itasca Park District, has been on the NEDSRA Board of Trustees since 2005. She has worked for the Itasca Park District for several years in a variety of positions, prior to becoming the Executive Director. Maryfran played an active leadership role with the Personnel Committee and takes her responsibilities as a NEDSRA Trustee very seriously.


LARRY REINER

Butterfield Park District

Larry Reiner is the Executive Director for the Butterfield Park District. Larry was the Executive Director at NEDSRA for 34 years and has been a Trustee since 2011. He is very passionate about the Healthy Minds/Healthy Bodies program, which serves Veterans with a disability, and has spent his entire professional career soliciting financial and community support for NEDSRA.

Village of Glendale Heights

Keith Knautz, Director of Parks, Recreation and Facilities for the Village of Glendale Heights, joined the NEDSRA Board of Trustees in 2014. Keith is a graduate of Luther College and moved to his current position after spending 13 years leading Glendale Lakes Golf Club. As a new member to the NEDSRA Board, Keith is excited to get involved with the organization and work with the many talented staff and fellow Trustees.
