Thank you for considering making a donation. NEDSRA’s fundraising efforts help support the multitude of quality programs and services designed to meet our participants’ diverse recreational needs. We genuinely appreciate all the support we receive.
NEDSRA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Financial support received from donors is used exclusively for direct service to our participants. All contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by the I.R.S.
Types of Programs/Services
Choose to designate your donation for a specific area of service, or you may allocate your donation to general support of our recreation services.
General Recreation Program Support
NEDSRA plans and implements more than 800 specialized recreation programs, community education programs and inclusion services each year. Funds are distributed where need is the greatest.
LIFE (Leisure Is For Everyone) Program
Our financial assistance program was established to guarantee that no person with a disability is excluded from participation due to financial limitations.
Special Olympics Track & Field Meet
NEDSRA provides year-round Special Olympics sports training and athletic competitions in a variety of sports for hundreds of children and adults with developmental disabilities. Funds are needed for uniforms, equipment, transportation costs, and support for the annual Track & Field Meet.
Adaptive Equipment
NEDSRA purchases specialized equipment that enables individuals with disabilities to overcome barriers and successfully participate in various leisure and sports activities.
Accessible Transportation
NEDSRA owns and maintains accessible vehicles that provide door-to-door transportation to leisure activities for participants on a year-round basis.
Ways To Show Your Support
- Show your support through a general contribution, or matching company gift.
- Honorary gifts given acknowledging someone for a special occasion or day. Birthday, Anniversary, Wedding, Graduation or Retirement.
- Gifts in memory are a special way to honor the memory of someone who has touched your life.
- Consider Sponsorship or Partnership opportunities supporting a NEDSRA program or event.
